SEGA reveals Germany map and multiplayer test for Crazy Taxi: World Tour
SEGA has revealed new details for the upcoming title Crazy Taxi: World Tour, including a first look at a Germany-themed map. The game, which is slated for a 2027 release, will feature locations such as the Autobahn and various historic landmarks, alongside collaborations with brands like PUMA and ZWILLING.
At the Gamescom expo, SEGA announced a closed network multiplayer test scheduled for September 12 to September 14, 2026. This test will allow players to experience two multiplayer modes: Pickup Race and Cops ‘n’ Cabbies. The trial will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PC, Steam, and PlayStation 5.
Notably, the game is bringing back its iconic licensed soundtrack, a feature highly requested by long-time fans. The upcoming September test will feature five songs, including tracks by Bad Religion and The Offspring, which have been absent from previous sequels and re-releases. The full version of the game is expected to support online multiplayer on the Nintendo Switch 2.
