SEGA to bring Virtua Fighter 5 to Xbox Game Pass

SEGA is expanding its partnership with Microsoft by bringing several major titles to Xbox Game Pass. The first scheduled release is Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage, which will join the service on September 10, 2026.

Producer Seiji Aoki confirmed that the game will feature rollback netcode, cross-play, and an improved single-player mode called World Stage. SEGA is also working on an Xbox PC version to ensure feature parity across platforms. Additionally, an upcoming update for the fighting game will include bug fixes and the addition of Arabic and Hindi language support.

This release is part of a broader trend of SEGA titles entering the Microsoft ecosystem. Other upcoming titles linked to the service include Persona 4 Revival, Persona 6, and Stranger Than Heaven.
