Segesta Teatro Festival reports significant growth in fifth edition

The fifth edition of the Segesta Teatro Festival has reached its midpoint, reporting significant growth in attendance. Ticket sales at the halfway mark have already matched the total number of tickets sold during the entire previous season.

Artistic director Claudio Collovà attributed this success to the quality of the programming, which integrates theater, music, and dance within the Segesta Archaeological Park. The first half of the festival featured various performers, including Lella Costa, Moni Ovadia, and Mario Incudine, as well as a performance by Dardust featuring Paris Opera Ballet dancer Andrea Sarri.

Luigi Biondo, director of the Archaeological Park, expressed satisfaction with both the attendance figures and the audience's reception of the shows. The festival program continues through August 30, with upcoming performances including works by Gabriele Vacis, the Zoukak Collective, and a tribute to Rosa Balistreri.
