Segorbe and Arrecife launch new sports grant programmes

The town council of Segorbe in Castellón has opened a €3,000 subsidy scheme for elite athletes who meet specific residency, age and competition criteria. Applications must be submitted within 15 calendar days of the notice in the provincial bulletin, with the deadline on 14 August.

Arrecife, the capital of Lanzarote, announced a €688,276 public aid programme to finance sports events of general interest held in the municipality. The call, published in the provincial bulletin, invites individuals, entities and companies organising competitions to apply within ten working days. The funding aims to offset organisational costs and stimulate the local economy and tourism by attracting more sporting events to the island.
