Segorbe-Castellón celebrates religious heritage and historical research

The Diocese of Segorbe-Castellón is highlighting various religious and historical milestones. The Secular Franciscan Order recently held a solemn Mass in honor of Saint Clare of Assisi at the historic San Martín de Tours church. The community is currently working to restore the temple, which remains in a precarious state, and is preparing for the upcoming feast of Saint Francis of Assisi in October.

Additionally, the eighth issue of the magazine ‘Yuste’, published by the Asociación Navarro Reverter, was presented at the Teatro Serrano de Segorbe. This edition features six research studies focused on the history and heritage of the Diocese of Segorbe-Castellón. Topics include studies on the patronage of Saint Agatha in Jérica, the foundation of the Clarissas convent in Almazora, and the musical and liturgical history of the Segorbe Cathedral.
