Segorbe launches window‑display contest for 2026 patron festivals

The Segorbe town council announced a traditional window‑display competition linked to the 2026 Patronal Festivities. Merchants can enter either a large‑store (over 2 m) or small‑store (up to 2 m) category, with first‑place prizes of €300 and a plaque in each. An additional "artistic quality" prize also offers €300. Entries must be created by the shop owners themselves, not by professionals, and submissions close on 7 August at 14:00. The award ceremony is scheduled for 28 August at 13:30 in the council’s Hall of Mayors. Trade councilor Aitor Aparicio encouraged participation, describing the contest as a key attraction that enriches community life during the festivities.
