Segovia hosts workshops for Isabel I proclamation reenactment
Segovia will host a series of historical reenactments to commemorate the proclamation of Isabel I as Queen of Castile between September 28 and October 4. To prepare for the event, the Centro de Innovación y Desarrollo Empresarial (CIDE) is hosting preparatory workshops this weekend to involve the community in the historical experience.
On Saturday, September 19, actor Fernando Cayo will lead a theater workshop at CIDE from 17:00 to 21:00. This session is open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. On Sunday, September 20, Cayo will work with the official actors of the reenactment from 10:30 to 14:00, allowing the public to observe the character development process.
A second workshop focused on historical dance will take place on Sunday, September 20, led by Javier García Ávila, choreographer of the Nao D’Amores group and artistic director.
