Segovia maintains current parking regulations and extends bus depot works
The Segovia Local Government Board has approved a two-year extension for the regulated street parking service (ORA) contract with SETEX-APARKI. This decision ensures service continuity following the municipal council's rejection of proposed changes to parking fee ordinances. The extension will maintain existing conditions, though it may conclude earlier if a new contract is awarded. The contract's first-year cost is set at 1,347,150.50 euros, and the board also approved a price revision to regularize economic liquidations dating back to November 2021.
Additionally, emergency construction works for the bus parking area at the Poza road garages have been extended to December 19. The project, managed by Jacinto Lázaro, aims to create a new outdoor parking zone following a major fire in April. The delay is attributed to adverse weather conditions affecting key tasks. The project also includes the rehabilitation of workshops and offices, as well as the installation of a new fast-charging CNG compressor to support the city's bus fleet.
