Segovia promotes provincial tourism through photography contest

The Segovia Provincial Council, through its Tourism Area, has launched the eleventh Tourism Photography Contest under the theme ‘Province of Segovia: A Whole World to Discover’. The initiative aims to capture images of lesser-known locations within the province to attract new visitors.

Participants can submit entries across three specific categories: ‘Villages with History’ focusing on traditional architecture and local identity; ‘Nature’ highlighting the province's diverse landscapes; and ‘Wildlife’ featuring native fauna and endemic flora. To emphasize the discovery of hidden gems, the contest specifically excludes the capital city, focusing instead on the broader provincial territory.

A jury composed of photography professionals and members of Prodestur will evaluate submissions based on technical quality, aesthetics, originality, and the ability to present unique perspectives of the region.
