Segunda FEB basketball clubs prepare for league season start

Spanish basketball clubs Lobe Huesca and Intermaquinas Benicarló are preparing for the start of the Segunda FEB regular season.

Lobe Huesca, led by coach Sergi Fortes and assistant Carlos Lanau, is set to debut on October 3 against Club Esportiu Bàsquet Llíria. While the team has resolved most bureaucratic issues regarding its roster, Cameroonian guard Jacques Sienche Guemeta is still awaiting residency paperwork to be fully available. The team competes in Group B.

Intermaquinas Benicarló, coached by Oriol Pozo, concluded its preseason with a narrow 73-68 loss to Amics Castelló in a provincial derby. Despite a strong performance from Anthony Libroia, who scored 20 points, the team suffered three close defeats during the Copa España preseason phase. Benicarló will begin its league campaign with a demanding away game in Ibiza.
