Seguros SURA launches motorcycle insurance in Dominican Republic

Seguros SURA has introduced ‘Moto Seguro’, a new insurance solution specifically designed for motorcyclists in the Dominican Republic. The plans, which start at RD$940 annually, aim to provide financial protection for delivery workers, messengers, and independent workers who rely on motorcycles for their livelihoods.

Motorcycles account for approximately 58% of the registered vehicle fleet in the Dominican Republic. The Moto Seguro offering includes three distinct coverage plans featuring civil liability, roadside assistance, judicial bonds, and access to the SURA Mobility Center. Additional benefits may include economic support for total loss due to accidents, medical expenses, disability coverage, and protection against the loss of mobile phones during accidents.
