Sehore temple to host Shiv Palaki Kanwar Yatra and Mahamarti

Preparations are underway at the ancient Shri Narsingh Lakshmi Temple in Sehore for upcoming religious observances during the holy month of Shravan.

According to Sant Madhavdas Maharaj, the month of Shravan holds significant spiritual importance for the worship of Lord Shiva. Under the guidance of Mahamandaleshwar Rambhushan Maharaj, a Shiv Palaki Kanwar Yatra is scheduled to take place on August 16. Additionally, a grand Mahamarti ceremony, modeled after the Ganga Aarti, will be held at the temple premises on the night of August 24.

Pawan Kewat, State Secretary of the Sanatan Sena, noted that devotees are showing great enthusiasm for the upcoming procession. The temple committee is currently making arrangements to accommodate the large number of devotees expected to participate in these religious events.
