Sei Investments Cuts Vale S.A. Stake by Over 50% in Q1

Sei Investments Co. reduced its holding in Vale S.A. (NYSE:VALE) by 52.8% during the first quarter, selling 695,341 shares. After the sale the investor retained 622,592 shares, valued at approximately $9.9 million at quarter‑end. The filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission shows the stake reduction was the largest among the disclosed institutional investors for Vale in the period.

Other investors also adjusted positions: the State of Wyoming increased its Vale holdings by 78.6%, while NewEdge Wealth, First Trust Advisors, Barometer Capital, and Cadence Wealth Management each made modest purchases.
