SEI opens Singapore office to expand Asia-Pacific asset management services
SEI has opened a new office in Singapore as part of its international growth strategy to support the expanding asset management sector in the Asia-Pacific region. The office will initially provide asset servicing, professional services, and the distribution of SEI’s UCITS funds.
As client demand increases, the company plans to expand its regional capabilities to include enterprise asset management, technology, and operations. Connall McGuckian, formerly of State Street, has been appointed Managing Director and Head of Singapore to lead the regional growth efforts.
The expansion comes amid significant growth in the local market; assets under management at Singapore-based firms reached S$6.7 trillion in 2025, a 10% increase from the previous year.
