Seia MEO store robbed by four men in Porsche

Four hooded men robbed a MEO telecommunications store in the center of Seia, Portugal, during the early hours of Tuesday. The group broke the glass entrance door and stole all smartphones from the establishment, causing estimated damages of approximately 20,000 euros.

Witnesses reported that the suspects attempted to muffle the store's alarm by placing folded cardboard boxes in front of it, though the sound of breaking glass still alerted neighbors. The thieves fled the scene in a black Porsche Cayenne with Spanish license plates. One witness noted that a customer at a nearby cafe inadvertently greeted the robbers with a “good night,” to which one of the suspects reportedly responded in Portuguese.

The GNR (Guarda Nacional Republicana) collected evidence at the scene to assist in locating the suspects, who remain at large. This incident marks the seventh similar robbery of a mobile phone store in the central interior region since the beginning of the year.
