SEIB and Patients' Union of Greece sign medical technology cooperation pact

The Association of Medical and Biotechnological Enterprises (SEIB) and the Patients' Union of Greece (ENASEL) have signed a three-year memorandum of cooperation. The agreement, signed on September 22, 2026, aims to establish systematic collaboration and joint initiatives to improve patient access to medical technology.

Key areas of focus include health technology assessment (HTA), access to medical devices, the implementation of European regulations for medical devices and in vitro diagnostic products (MDR/IVDR), early diagnosis, health literacy, and clinical research. The partnership seeks to bridge the gap between patient needs and medical innovation through knowledge exchange and participation in national and European programs.
