Seifertova tomb in Stříbro undergoes reconstruction

The Seifertova tomb at the Stříbro cemetery is currently undergoing reconstruction. The project, funded by the city of Stříbro with contributions from the Pilsen Region, involves an investment of over two million Czech koruna across two stages.

Restorer Jakub Šik stated that the interior work, which includes repairing plaster ceiling decorations and interior painting, is expected to be completed by November 20. Following the interior work, the second stage will focus on exterior repairs. Once the restoration is complete, remains that were moved to the tomb during recent decades due to social burial practices will be returned to the chapel.
