Seiko and Gold Pfeil highlight new timepiece models

Recent highlights in the watch market include commemorative releases from Seiko and a skeletonized model from German leather brand Gold Pfeil.

To celebrate its 145th anniversary, Seiko has released two limited edition Prospex models. The Ref. HBB001J is a mechanical model featuring a white silver dial with “Seiko Blue” accents on the bezel and second hand, limited to 9,999 pieces globally. The Ref. HBJ005P is a Speedtimer solar chronograph themed around the traditional Japanese color “Edo Purple,” limited to 8,000 pieces worldwide.

Additionally, Gold Pfeil, a luxury leather brand founded in 1856, offers the G51007SB, a double-sided skeleton automatic watch. The timepiece features a Japanese Miyota 8N24 movement, allowing the internal mechanics to be visible from both the dial and the case back. The watch is designed with a 39mm stainless steel case and is positioned as an accessible entry into mechanical horology.
