Seiko launches limited‑edition PADI King Turtle dive watch

Seiko has introduced the Prospex HBB002, a limited‑edition King Turtle dive watch that marks PADI’s 60th anniversary in 2026 and a decade of partnership between the watchmaker and the Professional Association of Diving Instructors. Production is capped at 8,000 pieces worldwide, with sales starting in July 2026 at a price of $750.

The 45 mm stainless‑steel case retains the familiar King Turtle dimensions, offers 200 m water resistance, and is powered by the automatic Calibre 4R36 with a 41‑hour power reserve. The dial adopts PADI’s anniversary colour scheme – blue background, red seconds hand and “Diver’s 200 m” text – and features a globe motif echoing the PADI logo. Lumibrite‑treated hour markers and hands improve legibility, while a day‑date display sits behind a cyclops‑type sapphire crystal. The watch ships on a steel bracelet with a diver’s extension and includes a black silicone strap printed with the full PADI name.
