Seiko launches limited‑edition Prospex PADI 60th Anniversary King Turtle dive watch

Seiko and the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) are marking both PADI’s 60th anniversary in 2026 and a decade of collaboration with a new limited‑edition Prospex dive watch built on the iconic King Turtle platform. The timepiece retains the cushion‑shaped 45 mm case and 13.2 mm thickness, but features a blue dial with red accents drawn from PADI’s anniversary logo, a globe motif, sapphire crystal with a cyclops magnifier, and a blue ceramic bezel insert. Inside, Seiko’s automatic calibre 4R36 (or 4R35 in earlier reports) provides a 41‑hour power reserve and 200 m water resistance, while lumibrite hands and markers ensure legibility underwater.

The watch will be sold worldwide from July 2026 in a run of 8,000 pieces, priced at €750 (approximately £650). It ships on a stainless‑steel bracelet with a three‑fold clasp and includes a high‑strength silicone strap printed with PADI’s full name. The release underscores the ongoing partnership between the Japanese watchmaker and the global diving organization, promoting ocean awareness and sustainable diving practices.
