Seiko releases Edo Purple limited-edition watches as online consumer deals surge

To mark its 145th anniversary, Seiko has unveiled six limited-edition watches featuring the historic “Edo purple” colour. The collection includes Prospex, Astron, Presage, Seiko 5 Sports and a revived Rotocall digital model, with prices in Australia ranging from AUD $675 for the Seiko 5 Sports SKX to AUD $4,500 for the Astron GPS Solar Chronograph. Each model is limited to between 2,000 and 9,999 pieces and will arrive in Australia from October 2026.
