Seine-Saint-Denis: Man indicted in double murder of ex-partner and infant

A 39-year-old man has been indicted and placed in pre-trial detention following the deaths of a 29-year-old woman and her two-month-old daughter in Drancy, Seine-Saint-Denis. The victims were discovered by the woman's sister in their apartment on Thursday.

The Bobigny prosecutor's office announced that the suspect, who had a previous romantic relationship with the victim, is facing charges of murder committed by a former partner and the murder of a minor. The man was apprehended while driving the victim's vehicle and was found in possession of her personal belongings. Although the suspect denied involvement during questioning, he remains in custody.
