Brazil municipalities launch various infrastructure and urban projects
Various municipal governments in Brazil are implementing infrastructure and urban improvement projects. In Campo Grande, the city is widening Rua Lino Villachá in the Nova Lima neighborhood to improve traffic flow, a project part of an investment totaling R$ 15.5 million. Additionally, a new sports complex is being constructed at Jacques da Luz Park in Moreninha III, costing R$ 1.35 million and featuring a synthetic soccer field, basketball court, and playground.
In João Pessoa, the Seinfra department has launched a pothole repair operation covering 57 neighborhoods to enhance road safety and mobility. Other regional updates include the revitalization of Park Sul in Brasília, a R$ 65 million project involving drainage and paving, and the implementation of the Pavimenta Itabuna program in Bahia, which has already requalified over 70 streets.
In Aquidauana, a new covered sports court was delivered to Escola Municipal Coronel Antônio Trindade following a R$ 925,784 investment. Meanwhile, in Mato Grosso do Sul, a R$ 9 million project has begun to resurface 18 kilometers of the MS-162 highway, addressing a decade-long demand from local and indigenous communities.
