Seixal Summer Fest celebrates 5th edition to promote local culture and economy

The 5th edition of the Seixal Summer Fest is focusing on the promotion and valorization of the local territory. Organized by the Seixal Parish Council, the event aims to showcase regional gastronomy, local products, wines, culture, sports, and nature to stimulate the local economy and community.

Regional Secretary of Agriculture and Fisheries, Nuno Maciel, emphasized that valuing communities is essential to valuing the territory, highlighting the connection between traditions, agriculture, and economic activity. The festival program includes culinary showcases, maritime activities such as fishing tournaments and paddle boarding, 4x4 mountain tours, and folklore performances to preserve local identity.
