Sejm Chancellery to build Parliamentarium museum in Warsaw

The Sejm Chancellery plans to establish ‘Parliamentarium’, a modern parliamentary museum and educational center in central Warsaw. The project is set to be located at Aleje Ujazdowskie 25, utilizing the historic Śleszyńskich Palace, which was acquired by the Chancellery at no cost.

The proposed facility will span five floors, including two underground levels, with a total area of approximately 4,000 to 5,000 square meters. Planned amenities include exhibitions, meeting spaces, a cafe, a souvenir shop, and a cinema. Preliminary architectural concepts even suggest rooftop lawns.

Designed to accommodate roughly 300,000 visitors annually, the project aims to serve as a major hub for parliamentary education and tours. The construction is expected to take seven years. The site is situated near the embassies of Switzerland and the United States.
