Sejong City to transition municipal newsletter to online webzine

Sejong Special Self-Governing City will transition its monthly municipal news publication from a printed format to a fully digital online webzine starting in October. This shift aims to meet the increasing demand for information via mobile and PC platforms while reducing printing and distribution costs.

The new webzine, which debuts with the October issue on October 1, will feature enhanced visual elements such as improved designs, photos, and infographics to increase readability. Unlike the monthly printed version, the digital platform will allow for more frequent updates regarding major policies, citizen benefit programs, and local events to ensure timely communication.

Citizens can access the webzine through the official Sejong City website. Residents can also subscribe using their mobile phone numbers to receive notification links via KakaoTalk or SMS. The city noted that personal information previously collected for printed subscriptions, including names and addresses, will be discarded.
