Sekiro: No Defeat anime reveals new posters and voice actor details

New promotional details and character posters have been released for ‘Sekiro: No Defeat’, the anime adaptation of the video game ‘Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice’. Produced by studio Qzil, the series is set during Japan’s Sengoku period, following the protagonist Wolf as he protects the Divine Heir, Kuro, amidst internal political conflicts and the use of forbidden powers.

Voice actors Daisuke Namikawa and Kenjiro Tsuda recently discussed their roles. Namikawa, reprising his role as Wolf, emphasized using the Japanese concept of ‘ma’—intentional silence and space—to portray the character’s stoic nature. Kenjiro Tsuda provided lighter commentary regarding the franchise's lore, specifically mentioning the ‘ohagi’ snacks associated with the character Emma.

The production is scheduled to premiere in Japanese theaters on September 4, 2026, before becoming available for streaming on Crunchyroll.
