Sekolah Rakyat schools hold open houses to showcase student talent and educational access

Integrated People's Schools (Sekolah Rakyat Terintegrasi) in Indonesia are hosting open house events to showcase student development and reinforce educational accessibility.

In Kuantan Singingi, Riau, Sekolah Rakyat Terintegrasi 1 held an open house to emphasize its commitment to providing education for all children, particularly those from economically disadvantaged families. Acting Secretary of the Kuantan Singingi Regency, Muradi, stated that economic limitations should not prevent children from achieving their goals and that the government is working to ensure no child is left behind due to costs.

In Ponorogo, Sekolah Rakyat Terintegrasi 5 organized an open house featuring student performances, including five-language speeches, Quranic recitation, traditional macapat singing, choir, pencak silat, and reog art. These activities were presented as a tribute to President Prabowo Subianto, the initiator of the Sekolah Rakyat program. The school also highlighted productive student ventures such as poultry farming, hydroponics, fisheries, and coffee businesses.
