Sekou Doumbouya joins Recoletas Salud San Pablo Burgos

Recoletas Salud San Pablo Burgos has signed Guinean center Sekou Doumbouya for the 2026/27 season. The 2.06-meter player will compete in both the Liga Endesa and the BKT EuroCup.

Doumbouya brings extensive international experience to the squad. His career includes stints in France with Poitiers and Limoges CSP, as well as time in the United States playing for the Detroit Pistons and the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA, alongside appearances in the G League with the Grand Rapids Drive, South Bay Lakers, and Delaware Blue Coats.

Most recently, Doumbouya played for MoraBanc Andorra in the Liga Endesa, where he averaged 11.3 points and 4.5 rebounds during the 2024/25 season, and had a period playing in Japan with Koshigaya Alphas. This signing marks the ninth addition to the Burgos roster.
