Selangor athletes secure gold in BMX Flatland and bowling at Sukma 2026

Athletes from Selangor achieved significant success at the Sukma Selangor 2026 games in various disciplines. In the inaugural women’s BMX Flatland event at Xtreme Park MBPJ, siblings Nur Airen Sofia Mohd Nor Aszeril and Nia Nur Aidryana Mohd Nor Aszeril secured gold and silver medals respectively for Selangor. Nur Airen Sofia won the gold with 81.67 points, marking the first time the event has been contested in the games.

In bowling, Selangor secured the gold medal in the women’s trio event at Sunway Mega Lanes. The team, consisting of Adania Mohd Redzwan, Adelia Nur Irwan Syazalee, and Qurratu’ain Izdihar Mohamad Pozi, finished with a total of 3,560 pins, narrowly defeating Kedah. Adania Mohd Redzwan contributed significantly to the win with 1,249 pins, marking her fourth podium finish in the competition.
