Selangor International Business Summit 2026 targets RM8 billion in transactions

The 10th edition of the Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS) 2026 aims to achieve a potential transaction value of RM8 billion. The event also targets at least 500 high-impact business matching meetings.

Ng Sze Han, the Selangor Executive Councillor for Investment, Trade, and Mobility, stated that these targets reflect the state's aspiration to improve the quality of incoming investments. He emphasized that SIBS 2026 is intended to serve as a primary platform for developing high-value cross-border cooperation and strengthening Selangor's position as a major gateway to ASEAN.

The summit is scheduled to take place from October 14 to 17, 2026, at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). This milestone edition is expected to be the largest and most comprehensive to date, bringing together multinational companies, local enterprises, and government agencies to expand trade and investment networks.
