Selaqui Strikers win inaugural Dehradun T20 League title

Selaqui Strikers have won the inaugural Dehradun T20 League 2026 title after defeating Mussoorie Thunders by 39 runs in the final held at Abhimanyu Cricket Academy. Due to rain, the match was reduced to 16 overs per side.

After being asked to bat first, Selaqui Strikers posted a total of 192/3. The innings was headlined by wicketkeeper-batter Vijay Sharma, who scored an unbeaten 103 runs from just 31 balls, including 12 sixes and five fours. Captain Piyush Joshi and Sanskar Rawat also contributed to the total.

In response, Mussoorie Thunders were bowled out for 153 in 14.4 overs. Despite contributions from Akhil Singh Rawat, Anmol Shah, and Jonty, the team struggled against the bowling of Nishu Patel and Siddharth Gupta, who took three wickets each. Vijay Sharma was named Player of the Match for his performance.
