Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato reunite for Rare Beauty campaign
Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato have reunited for a new Rare Beauty campaign titled “Still Making Each Other Blush.” The collaboration celebrates the long-standing friendship between the two former Disney Channel stars, who first met as children on the set of “Barney & Friends” in 2002.
The campaign features the “Delena Soft Pinch Blush Bundle,” a limited-edition set named after the portmanteau used by fans to describe the duo. The bundle includes two liquid blush shades: “Virtue,” a peach-beige shade selected by Lovato, and “Hope,” a nude-mauve shade selected by Gomez.
To evoke nostalgia, the promotional materials include photos recreating the poster from their 2009 Disney Channel Original Movie, “Princess Protection Program,” with the artists wearing blue and yellow dresses and tiaras. The campaign also features a video inspired by their early YouTube vlogs, where they discuss their shared history and perform a lip-sync to their movie duet, “One and the Same.”
