Selinay Akçin joins Yunusemre Belediyespor

Yunusemre Belediyespor, a team competing in the Women's Volleyball 2. League, has strengthened its roster by signing national hitter Selinay Akçin. Akçin, a Manisa native, brings significant international experience to the club.

A decorated athlete with the Deaf National Team, Akçin has achieved numerous honors, including a World Championship, an Olympic Championship, and a silver medal from the Deaflympics in Tokyo. Her previous professional experience includes playing for Fethiye Zirvespor and Şırnak Silopi, where she participated in the 2. League Play-Offs.

During the signing ceremony, Yunusemre Belediyespor Club President Bülent Kanik expressed pride in securing a player of Akçin's caliber, noting that her experience and fighting spirit will be vital for the team's new season goals.
