Selinée Méndez presents second legislative accountability report

Selinée Méndez, a deputy representing Constituency 1 of the National District, has presented her second accountability report for the 2025-2026 legislative period. During this second year, Méndez introduced 37 legislative initiatives, including bills and resolutions, both individually and in collaboration with other congressmen.

The initiatives focus on several key areas: protection of women, children, and adolescents; mental health; education; the environment; elderly rights; citizen security; and state modernization. Notable proposals include a bill to guarantee access to public education through an automatic and continuous enrollment system, as well as a resolution for the construction and expansion of educational facilities in the National District.

Additionally, Méndez’s legislative work includes a project to modify the law on national symbols and a bill regarding health and economic security guarantees for senior citizens. As part of her transparency efforts, she has introduced an audiovisual communication proposal to make her management results more accessible to the public.
