Selma Blair reported doing well following airport arrest

Actress Selma Blair is reportedly doing well following a medical emergency that led to her arrest at John F. Kennedy International Airport on October 11. The incident occurred following an alleged altercation with Delta Airlines cabin crew members during a flight from Los Angeles.

Blair’s spokesperson stated that the actress suffered a medical event related to her multiple sclerosis, noting she also has pseudobulbar affect, a neurological condition secondary to MS. The spokesperson emphasized that the medical episode affects how her condition presents to others and noted that authorities had taken her service dog during the incident.

Blair has pleaded not guilty in a New York court to two charges of assault. She has been released on bail and is scheduled to return to court in January. Sasha Farber, her former professional dance partner from ‘Dancing with the Stars’, confirmed he has been in contact with her, stating, “She’s doing great and I’m thinking of her.”
