Selçuk Türkoğlu criticizes industrial and agricultural issues in Düzce

İYİ Party Deputy Chairman and Bursa Deputy Selçuk Türkoğlu visited Düzce to address local economic and industrial concerns. During his visit, Türkoğlu met with tradespeople in the old industrial zone to discuss ongoing redevelopment processes.

Türkoğlu criticized the management of the industrial zone, stating that municipal services should focus on public service rather than acting as a contractor. He announced plans to bring these issues to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and to follow up with the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, as well as the Ministry of Interior.

Additionally, Türkoğlu voiced strong opposition to current hazelnut pricing policies. He argued that the reported 25 percent price increase is insufficient given that production costs—including fuel, labor, fertilizer, and pesticides—have risen by 80 to 100 percent.
