Selçuklu Municipality hosts Great Arabesk Night concert

The Selçuklu Municipality Art Academy hosted a ‘Great Arabesk Night’ concert at the Selçuklu Congress Center Open Air Stage. The event featured performances of works by legendary arabesk musicians Ferdi Tayfur, Müslüm Gürses, and Orhan Gencebay.

The music was performed by the Selçuklu Art Academy Music Ensemble, composed of students from the academy. The concert drew a large crowd of attendees from various age groups. Timur Turanbayburt, the son of Ferdi Tayfur, attended the event and expressed his gratitude to the organizers.

Selçuklu Mayor Ahmet Pekyatırmacı attended the performance and spoke about the enduring value of arabesk music, noting that the songs carry significant personal memories for many people. He emphasized the municipality's commitment to supporting art and artists.
