Seluma schools to undergo revitalization in 2026

The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) is implementing a school revitalization program in Seluma Regency, Bengkulu, for 2026. The program targets 29 educational units, including 15 elementary schools, 10 junior high schools, and 4 early childhood education (PAUD) centers.

Funding amounts vary by institution type: PAUD centers receive approximately Rp900 million, elementary schools receive between Rp700 million and Rp1.5 billion, and junior high schools receive up to Rp2 billion. The Seluma Education and Culture Office reported that several schools have already begun the 'zero point' phase to mark the start of construction. Before physical work commences, schools must complete administrative stages, including data verification, signing cooperation agreements, and technical guidance for principals.
