Semapa control simplified through holding company merger

The heirs of Pedro Queiroz Pereira have completed a merger of the holding companies used to control Semapa, one of Portugal’s largest industrial groups. Through the incorporation of Cimo – Gestão de Participações SGPS into Sodim SGPS, the ownership structure has been simplified.

Following the merger, Sodim SGPS now directly holds 81.787% of Semapa’s capital and voting rights. Semapa, in turn, remains the vehicle that holds 70.03% of The Navigator Company, the group’s primary asset. The top-level control remains unchanged, held collectively by Filipa Mendes de Almeida de Queiroz Pereira, Mafalda Mendes de Almeida de Queiroz Pereira, and Lua Mónica Mendes de Almeida de Queiroz Pereira.
