Indonesian corporations report H1 2026 growth and strategic shifts
Several Indonesian state-owned and major private enterprises reported significant financial and strategic developments for the first half of 2026.
PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) reported revenue of Rp17.65 trillion, a 13.1% year-on-year increase, driven by a 5.6% rise in sales volume to 18.28 million tons. As part of its market expansion in West Java, SIG officially relaunched the Semen Kujang brand, utilizing Active Micro Particle technology to strengthen its regional presence.
PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) recorded a net profit of Rp2.65 trillion, supported by improved operational performance in the second quarter and higher average coal selling prices. Meanwhile, PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGE) saw revenue grow 14.73% to USD 235 million, with a net profit of USD 79.6 million, as it pursues a 1 GW capacity target by 2028.
In the infrastructure sector, PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) reported a 2% increase in net profit to Rp1.9 trillion, fueled by toll road transaction volumes. Additionally, PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (SMI) committed up to Rp192 billion in financing for West Sulawesi to support road, bridge, and irrigation infrastructure projects. Finally, PT Brantas Abipraya is undergoing a restructuring process to streamline its group by cutting 29 business entities to focus on its core contracting business.
