Semnan University inaugurates new technological projects

During a one-day visit to Semnan province, Iran's Minister of Science, Research, and Technology, Hossein Simayee Sarraf, participated in several academic and technological events.

At Semnan University, the Minister attended the inauguration of two new projects at the university's Science and Technology Park. These include a new 600-square-meter workshop building and a geothermal heat pump system. The geothermal project, which has been under construction since 2018, utilizes a matrix of 48 wells, each 15 meters deep, and includes 12 heating pumps to support the park's infrastructure.

Additionally, Morteza Motiee, the representative of the Supreme Leader in Semnan, met with the Minister to discuss the importance of social cohesion and the role of universities in solving national problems. Motiee emphasized that strengthening the bond between the public and officials is a vital asset for managing national crises and utilizing the scientific and specialized capabilities of academic centers to support regional development.
