Sempra reports Port Arthur LNG expansion remains on schedule

Sempra Infrastructure has announced that the Port Arthur LNG expansion project remains on schedule. This announcement comes despite the extended commissioning of export credit agency facilities.

The Port Arthur LNG project, a natural gas liquefaction and export terminal located in Jefferson County, Texas, is a collaborative development between Sempra Infrastructure and ConocoPhillips. The facility is designed to process and ship approximately 26 million tons of American natural gas per year to global markets. The project is expected to reach substantial completion in the fourth quarter of 2026, with sales under long-term agreements expected to commence shortly thereafter.
