Semu recognized by Sebrae/MS for supporting female entrepreneurs

The Executive Secretariat for Women (Semu) has been recognized by Sebrae/MS for its work supporting female entrepreneurs in Mato Grosso do Sul. In August, Semu employee Adriana Machado was named Employee of the Month for her engagement in serving women and participating in mobile outreach actions across various regions of Campo Grande.

These mobile actions aim to increase access to information and services for women who face difficulties reaching traditional service centers. The Sala da Mulher Empreendedora, a joint initiative between the Campo Grande City Hall and Sebrae/MS inaugurated in May 2025, provides free assistance for women looking to start, formalize, or improve their businesses. Services include guidance on business registration, tax documentation, consulting, free courses, and lectures.
