Semu wraps up master of ceremony training for women in Brazil
The Secretaria Executiva da Mulher (Semu) completed the Cerimonial – Module III, a master‑of‑ceremony training course offered by the Escola de Capacitação para Mulheres (Escap), concluding a series of ceremonies‑related courses.
Participants received instruction in public speaking, diction, voice modulation, microphone handling, protocol, event scripting and conduct, plus techniques for handling unexpected incidents and managing emotions while speaking.
Angélica Fontanari, Semu’s executive secretary, said the course broadens professional opportunities for women. Alumni such as Roseane Nantes, who has run a company for ten years, and Francielle da Silva Mendes, an event‑sector professional, praised the networking, skill development and career benefits. Mentor Helaine Bitencourt described the curriculum as three stages – assessors and staff, cerimonialists and masters of ceremony.
