SEMUJER strengthens support for indigenous women in Ayutla

The Secretariat of Women (SEMUJER) has strengthened support for the Güwa Küma Community Center, known as ‘La Casa de los Saberes’, in Ayutla de los Libres, Guerrero. During a visit, SEMUJER head Dr. Hilda Ruth Lorenzo Hernández delivered computer equipment, informative materials, and outreach tools to the center.

The initiative aims to provide indigenous women in the region with improved access to legal, psychological, and health services. As part of the visit, officials distributed 3,000 ‘Women’s Rights’ booklets and materials from the ‘Guerrero Actúa’ campaign, which focuses on preventing and addressing violence against women and girls.
