Senator Katie Britt of Alabama publicly accused President Joe Biden of enabling a terror plot aimed at former President Donald Trump's 80th‑birthday UFC event on the White House lawn. On a Newsmax interview she said, "do not let the Biden administration off the hook" and linked the alleged threat to the president's border policies, despite no evidence of any such connection.

The FBI announced a multi‑state operation that arrested several suspects, including 19‑year‑old Tycen Proper of Ohio and three men from California, Missouri and Nebraska.
