Sena apprentices in Ipiales to receive discounted transport fare
Starting Monday, August 24, Sena apprentices in Ipiales will benefit from a special public transportation rate of $1,500. This measure aims to provide economic relief to more than 2,000 students who must travel daily to their academic and training centers.
The differential rate was established through an agreement between Sena and the transport company Colectivos Ciudad de Ipiales. William Bastidas, manager of Colectivos Ciudad de Ipiales, stated that the initiative is intended to reduce economic difficulties for students and may encourage them to remain in their academic programs.
To access this lower rate, students must present a valid Sena identification card when boarding public service vehicles. The transport company will be responsible for applying the special fare to users who meet this requirement.
