Sena has launched the Vortex, a compact and lightweight Bluetooth intercom designed for motorcyclists. The device features a slim design with a thickness of 18 mm and weighs 37 grams, allowing it to be installed on helmets with minimal visual impact.
Key features include a magnetic mounting system for quick removal and Qi-compatible wireless charging. The device offers up to 27 hours of battery life, with a fast-charging capability that provides 2.5 hours of communication from just 20 minutes of charging. For connectivity, the Vortex includes a ‘Quick Pair’ button to simplify the pairing process between two users, such as a rider and a passenger or two riders traveling together, with a range of up to 1.2 km.
The unit is equipped with 40 mm HD speakers and an advanced microphone designed to reduce ambient noise from wind and traffic. Users can manage settings and updates via the Sena Motorcycles application. The Vortex is priced at 169 euros for a single unit and 319 euros for a dual pack.
