Senac Confectionery Fair concludes in Recife

The 2nd Senac Confectionery Fair concluded at the Recife Expo Center, drawing over 5,400 registrants and featuring more than 70 exhibitors. The event aimed to strengthen the Pernambuco confectionery market by connecting professionals, entrepreneurs, and students to share trends and experiences.

In addition to industry showcases for ingredients and packaging, the fair included an Artistic Cake Contest. Notable winners included Claudia Braga in the Wedding Cake category and Claudyely Santana in the Children's Cake category.

The event also served a social purpose; through solidarity tickets, organizers collected 2.2 tons of non-perishable food and over R$ 11,000 for Sesc Mesa Brasil. Bernardo Peixoto, president of the Fecomércio/Sesc/Senac-PE System, confirmed that a subsequent edition of the fair is already planned.
